Archives of Educational and Behavioral Sciences (AEBS) is a open access journal. This means that all content is freely available online without subscription fees or paywalls, and authors are not charged any submission or publication fees. Our commitment is to make knowledge in education and the behavioral sciences accessible to all, regardless of institutional or financial resources.

Principles of Open Access

AEBS supports the broader movement toward open science by ensuring that research we publish is:

  • Freely available to anyone with internet access, without restriction

  • Published immediately upon acceptance, with no embargo periods

  • Reusable under clear licensing terms, allowing others to build upon existing work with proper attribution

Licensing

All articles in AEBS are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This permits:

  • Sharing – copy and redistribute articles in any format or medium

  • Adapting – remix, transform, and build upon published work for any purpose, including commercial use

  • Attribution – proper credit must always be given to the authors and the journal

This licensing model maximizes the reach and impact of published research, supporting global collaboration and knowledge dissemination.

Archiving and Preservation

To guarantee long-term accessibility, AEBS participates in digital preservation systems such as LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, and PKP PN. Authors are also encouraged to deposit their published work in institutional repositories. Metadata is openly available and fully compatible with harvesting protocols such as OAI-PMH, ensuring discoverability across databases and indexing platforms.
