Archives of Educational and Behavioral Sciences (AEBS) welcomes submissions of original, high-quality manuscripts that advance scholarship in education, psychology, counseling, and behavioral sciences. This guide provides authors with the necessary instructions for preparing and submitting manuscripts.

 

General Principles

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Submissions should be written in clear academic English.

  • All research must follow recognized ethical standards and include appropriate approvals when applicable.

  • Manuscripts are submitted exclusively through our online submission system.

  • The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal on behalf of all co-authors.

Abstract and Keywords

  • Original Research and Systematic Reviews must include a structured abstract (250–300 words) with the following headings:

    • Background – Context and rationale

    • Methods – Design, participants, procedures/analysis

    • Results – Main findings with supporting evidence

    • Conclusion – Implications for theory, practice, or policy

  • Narrative and Theoretical Reviews may use an unstructured abstract (150–250 words).

  • All submissions must include 3–6 keywords (use APA Thesaurus terms or other recognized subject headings when possible).

Ethical Considerations

  • Research involving human participants must include ethics committee approval and informed consent where applicable.

  • Authors must disclose:

    • Conflicts of interest

    • Funding sources

    • Author contributions (CRediT taxonomy encouraged)

  • AEBS adheres to COPE guidelines and internationally accepted research ethics standards.

 

Plagiarism and Misconduct

  • All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection software (e.g., iThenticate).

  • A similarity index above 20% (excluding references/methods) may lead to rejection.

  • Fabrication, falsification, and duplicate publication are strictly prohibited.

 

Authorship Criteria

AEBS follows internationally accepted authorship principles:

  • Substantial contribution to conception, design, or data collection/analysis

  • Drafting or critically revising the manuscript

  • Final approval of the version to be published

  • Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work

Changes in authorship after submission require written approval from all authors.
