Copyright Policy
Archives of Educational and Behavioral Sciences (AEBS) is an open-access journal dedicated to the free exchange of scholarly knowledge. While all published content is protected under copyright law, it is also shared under a license that encourages broad and responsible re-use.
Author Copyright
Authors retain full copyright of their work once it is published in AEBS. Upon acceptance, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and preserve the article in print and digital formats.
This means that:
-
Authors are free to reuse their work for teaching, academic presentations, or non-commercial publications without additional permission.
-
The final published version (Version of Record) may be deposited in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networks, provided that proper citation and a link to the AEBS website are included.
License to Publish
All content in AEBS is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license permits others to:
-
Share — copy and redistribute the work in any format or medium
-
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the work for any purpose, including commercial use
-
Attribute — credit must always be given to the author(s) and the journal as the original source

Third-Party Material
If a manuscript includes material owned by third parties (e.g., images, figures, questionnaires, tables), authors must obtain the necessary permissions and provide clear acknowledgments within the article.
Misuse and Plagiarism
The unauthorized use of published AEBS content without proper attribution, or any misuse of third-party copyrighted material, is considered a violation of this policy. Such cases may lead to editorial sanctions, retractions, or legal action where appropriate.
