Archives of Educational and Behavioral Sciences (AEBS) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and authenticity of all published content. To safeguard the scholarly record, AEBS participates in trusted digital archiving systems and supports open repository practices.

Preservation Services

LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
AEBS content is preserved through the LOCKSS system, which enables participating libraries to collect, store, and distribute journal content as part of a secure, decentralized archive. This guarantees that published work remains accessible even in the case of technical or institutional disruptions.

CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)
The journal also takes part in the CLOCKSS initiative, which provides an additional layer of protection through a controlled and widely distributed archiving network. CLOCKSS ensures permanent availability of scholarly material should a publisher’s website fail or operations be discontinued.

Commitment to Best Practices

These measures reflect the international standards for digital preservation recommended by indexing and archiving organizations. Beyond LOCKSS and CLOCKSS, authors are encouraged to deposit their final published versions in institutional repositories and personal archives to maximize visibility and access.

AEBS remains committed to guaranteeing that its publications are freely accessible, permanently preserved, and reliably citable for generations of researchers, educators, and practitioners.
